Gympie Garden Expo

Brimming with ideas and educational advice for home gardeners of all ages. Join garden gurus Cath Manuel who will be offering practical tips on how to help you get the most out of your garden, and Adam Woodhams on rediscovering our sustainable heritage. Hands-on workshops include caring for anthuriums, orchids and bonsai.

Experience the wonder of orchids with Queensland’s largest and most spectacular display. Horticulture green thumbs present the best of Gympie’s potted plants and you can also visit a range of open gardens. Spend the day exploring the huge variety of market stalls, while the kids keep busy at Kids Korner.

Sunday comes alive with Compost Corner focusing on sustainability in our community. Paul Plant is hands on to improve your soil. Dr Tobias Smith will inspire on his favourite subject, native bees!

Aboriginal elder Eugene Bargo will take us on a river journey, and Zela Bissett focuses on fibre plants and practical paper-making. Come and let the Gympie Garden Expo inspire and delight the whole family. It is a challenge not to come away with too many plants!
