The Wild West Farm Trail is your chance to get your boots dirty and get to know your farmer. From organic beef to small crops, macadamias to camel milk, there is something for everyone.

Travel 20 minutes west from Gympie along Glastonbury Road. Turn left onto Scrubby Creek Road then left again onto Waugh Road.

Camelot Dairies provides customers with award winning produce from the happiest of camels. Melanie and Wayne invite you to have a camel ride, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the café with fresh cakes and delicious coffee lots of good vibe camel cuddles.

Leaving Camelot, turn left onto Glastonbury Road. Then turn right into Diggings Road. Follow the signs from there to Anarra Farm. This should be a 20 minute drive.

2 ANARRA FARM Open 9am – 4pm

At Anarra Farm we rehabilitate and educate people on the environment the need to protect our wildlife. Our wildlife release site is the only one in the Gympie region, including a tree fodder farm for our Koalas.

From Anarra Farm, head back to Gympie Woolooga Road. Turn right, and head 1.2kms up the road towards Widgee. CGL BEEF is located on the left. Travel time is 10 minutes.

Clean green local beef. Come along and check out our ‘all new and much improved’ mobile chicken tractor. Learn about making compost on a large scale and why we do it. There will be cows to move and soil to grow at our new farm!

Turn left onto Gympie Woolooga Road, then left onto Wide Bay Highway to Kilkivan. Turn right onto James Street opposite the BP, then right onto Cave Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street which becomes Mudlo Road. This should be a 35 minute drive.

Kumbartcho is 141ha fronting Wide Bay Creek. Enterprises are beef cattle (Nguni, an ancient African breed), bees, and pasture hay.
The farm has been managed biodynamically/organically for the past 5+ years. The Nguni herd will be "on show" throughout the weekend.

From Kilkivan, take the Wide Bay Highway towards Gympie. Turn left onto Bauple Woolooga Road, then left onto Reilly Road. Travel time is 30 minutes.

5 PETERSEN’S FARM AND CC’S KITCHEN

Farm tours, tastings, products/produce for sale, refreshments, pop up stalls. Home to the Big Rosella, we are growers of seasonal and unique variety of seasonal and unique varieties of fresh produce. CC's Kitchen also produce over 90 homemade condiments (jams/relishes/sauces/drinks). Our farm shop is open 7 days (honesty box system).

Turn Left onto Bauple Woolooga Road which becomes Bauple Drive over the Bruce Highway. Turn right onto Forestry Road in Bauple, then left at Bauple State School to continue on Forestry Road. Turn left onto Talegalla Drive. This should be a 30 minute drive.

Farm tours at 10am, 12pm and 2pm with tastings, pop up pantry, sausage sizzle and local stalls. Farmers Mick and JoJo welcome you to their farm featuring 3,000 macadamia trees, a macadamia nursery and the Barenuts Kitchen where a range of roasted macadamias, macadamia products and delicious treats are produced.
