Regional Flavours 2018

Release Date: 26-Jun-2018

Over the weekend, the Gympie region was well represented at Brisbane’s free food and wine festival ‘Regional Flavours’ at South Bank.

This is the sixth year that the Gympie region has taken part in the festival, which continues to grow in popularity. More than 80,000 people attended the event and our Food and Culinary Tourism Ambassador Matt Golinski, Council staff, representatives from seven local producers and volunteers worked hard to promote the unique local products and experiences from our region.

Lindols Madacamias, Purity Essential Oils, Suncoast Limes, Goomboorian Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, CC’s Kitchen, Ugly Duck Preserves and Cooloola Berries were on hand to showcase their products.

This is the premier marketing event under Council’s Gympie Gold Regional Produce initiative and over 1,500 show bags were handed out with Gympie region promotional material and information.
